Back in 1998

I began a new adventure... as an antique shop owner and new mom. As the youngest shop owner on the street, I slowly gained experience and confidence. I wanted to try a current twist on vintage: mixing old with new, creating an eclectic look. It’s this vision that has resulted in over 20 years of hunting, hauling, sanding, painting, and arranging.

We are a family here at Olde Ivy. My aunt and uncle, Elaine and Bill have been a huge part of the business since the beginning. My daughters grew up being carted to estate sales and helping in the shop. Behind the scenes, our 22 dealers pop in and create magic in their booth spaces.

Call me a bibliophile! I feature a mix of titles, specializing in classic literature, history, military, and biographies. Also offered are children’s and religious/spiritual books along with special gift and collectible editions. Leaf through volumes of vintage books in excellent condition in my book nook to add to your library collection.

I specialize in one-of-a kind handmade shell products which I create from natural seashells and coral. My line includes seashell driftwood wreaths and crosses, handmade candle holders, shell letters and embellished shells with Swarovski crystals. I love all coastal elements that allow me to be creative.

Some of my favorite finds are old vintage boxes - from wooden nautical to French papier-mâché, to boxes made of English porcelain and Asian cloisonné. Used, vintage, rare, antique, and sometimes magical - what a wonderment of beauty from the past!

I offer a variety of items from all eras: jewelry and collectible treasures - from antique to contemporary, kitschy items when I can find them, art, embellishments, buttons, and just about anything that I think is interesting! Customers are so creative in the ways in which they use their finds, so I try to be as diverse as possible.
